Personalized Learning - Portfolio Annuals

Portfolio Annuals

Because Personalized Learning has (largely) renounced on grades, other forms of individually assessing and recognizing student work have come to be preferred. The Portfolio Annual is one example of this new feedback culture. At the end of the school year, students choose their best results from their papers, and possibly even revise these. In the project week at the end of a school year, there is one group commissioned to bind the work of all the students involved in Personalized Learning. This involves 150 Portfolio binders per year.

The Portfolio Annuals are handed out to the students on the last day of the school year, together with their reports and the individual learning assessments, thereby supplying them wit a choice selection of their work in that year.
